The West End production of Stomp is to close after 15 years in London. Following a ten-year run at the Ambassadors Theatre, the show, which incorporates dance and percussion using everyday instruments, will have its final performance on 7th January 2018. Stomp was first performed in Edinburgh in 1991, and moved to Sadler’s Wells in London in 1994, winning the Olivier Award for Best Choreography. It transferred to New York the following year before beginning its West End run at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2002, transferring to its current home in September 2007.
