Revered musical Falsettos returns to Broadway in 2016 for the first time in 23 years. Helming this revival is the original co-writer and director James Lapine, who has three Tonys to his name and helmed the 2012 revival of Annie. Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten!) stars as Marvin, with Andrew Rannells (Book of Mormon) as Whizzer and Stephanie J. Block (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as Trina!

First performed on The Great White Way in 1992, Falsettos made for a thoroughly subversive Broadway show, exploring the all-too-recent AIDS crisis in the form of a wholesome song and dance musical. It was nominated for seven Tonys, taking home two awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Score, and remains a landmark of gay theater to this day.
